Ally and Abigail’s informal, rustic wedding in Peebles. Reception and Ceilidh at the Secret Herb Garden, Edinburgh.
Abigail and Alasdair, Ally to his family and friends, married in the lovely town of Peebles at Peebles Parish Church. For there reception they put on a couple of buses for their guests and they headed off to the Secret Herb Garden (one one my favourite venues… ssshhh).
The vibe on the day was totally relaxed and very much about the celebration of Ally and Abigail’s marriage, much laughter, love and utter friendliness from everyone. I even felt like part of the day too and that is a really nice thing to feel.
Abigail and Ally booked me for a half day so I was able to hang out with the boys for a wee bit before heading to the church to catch the guests and Abigail arrive in style. She and her dad arrived at the church in a classic car. I even managed to have a wee go in it too, when we were on the way to Tweed Green. Both Abigail and Ally are from Peebles and heading to Tweed Green was something that was important to them both.
With Thunder forecast and threats of rain, here is how it went…
