Newborn photoshoot, Newborn photography session or what I like to call them - Welcome To The World sessions.

My sessions are all about your baby - led by them, organic, honest and raw.

 My approach is simple and minimalist, with no posing or props. I don’t think your baby needs anything extra than just to be themselves.

We’ll get some photographs of your new family together. These are memories to look back on, the connections between you and capturing those tiny toes that won’t stay that small for long.

It's best if your baby is between 7 and 14 days old

This age range is recommended as this is when they are at their sleepy stage, are very flexible with new and glowing skin. If they are older then we can we can still proceed with the session, please just bear in mind that when older, they are often more alert and so photographs may be a little more difficult.

 Each session lasts between 1 and 4 hours 

This might sound like a long time but I don’t want you to feel rushed. We’ll put the kettle on, have some homemade cake and it allows plenty of time for any feeds and changes.
My experience is that the more relaxed you are, the more relaxed your baby will be and you’ll get better photographs – it’s my job to make sure this happens.

 Lifestyle or Studio

Session can be in the Studio, in Innerleithen with use of the beanbag and wraps or a Lifestyle session in the comfort of your own home, no beanbag, no wrapping, just capturing your new life at home in your newborn bubble.

Sessions will last up to two hours, they are relaxed, full of giggles, tea and love.
