Relaxed DIY wedding of Seren & Lewis took place at Neipath Castle, nestled amongst the trees just outside Peebles.
Seren and Lewis’s DIY wedding was all things amazing.
From the relaxed outdoors ceremony in front of Neidpath Castle to the informal yummy meal made by Cooks & Co, set out in a help yourself style along long trestle tables. Oh and lets not forgetting the BYOB for the drinks. Everything in worked for their relaxed wedding vibe. Lewis made the bar for all the mixers to go on, signs for around the venue and Seren (who is a chocolatier at Cocoa Blacks ) made all the yummy favours.
It’s not the first time I have photographed these lovely people. I photographed their little girl, Flo who made and appearance in the world at the start of the year, now she is becoming her own wee person, full of character.
I did get a lovely review from Seren and Lewis, here is what they had to say…
“Firstly, I cannot recommend Becky highly enough! Both in newborn and wedding photography.
2019 has been a pretty big year for us with the birth of our baby in February and marriage in August. We decided to go for a Welcome to the World photo shoot. She was so calm and amazing with Flo during the shoot. I’d stupidly had chilli the night before and mixing that with a 10 day old baby meant that we had 5 nappy changes in one hour. Becky took it all in her stride even changing the nappies, providing more when we ran out and even getting us to come down a few days later to see if we could get a couple more shots.
We fell in love with the pictures and went from deciding before that we would only pick 5 to leaving with 12! Our print is pride of place in our living room and is a daily reminder of Flo when she was tiny.
Before we had the baby, we booked Becky for wedding on the 29th of August after she did a friends wedding.
She didn’t seem to mind my pregnancy/ baby brain antics on the lead up and was totally on the same page as us from the get go.
I couldn’t have dreamt of our day being any better and Becky was a huge part of that. She was fab on the day, she was always there but not overbearing or awkward, even if my bridesmaids were the worst at candid. She was even the one that helped me get dressed.
Everything felt completely natural and relaxed. It felt like it was another friend at the wedding. She got Inga as another photographer for the day and what a dream team they were.
When we saw our sneak peak we were so excited to see the rest and they did not disappoint. Last night we spent a couple hours looking through every photo re-living it all, seeing things we had missed or seeing them from a different angle. We now have these photos to treasure and remember the day exactly how we want to. Thank you so much Becky they truly are amazing !”
