Set in the Border town of Selkirk, Tao and David married at the Country House The Haining
Tao and David, where do I start. Hand on heart, that these guys are truly made for each other. I had met Tao a few times at various wedding fairs with her mum and bridesmaids but hadn’t met David until they came to my studio for a chat before their big day at The Haining. I could see the spark between them, their connection and excitement was just lovely to see. And because this I knew their wedding was going to be amazing.
When their day arrived it was a wet and soggy one. Luckily Tao was prepared though with her wellies to hand and the weather gods decided that it would clear up in the afternoon for a while, which was great, we managed to find a little spot filled with Bluebells.
Tao and David had decided that their day would be as they wanted, traditions were kind of thrown out of the window. No table plan, no evening reception and no sit down meal, just a buffet giving everyone a chance to mingle and chat.
Tao’s dad is a Magician, so he had a few tricks up his sleeve too. It was a very chilled, relaxed day and a joy to be apart of.
Thanks Tao and David!
